Of course, in the market there are also wallets for smart phones, some of the software wallet manufacturers have their application for the phone, this gives the user a lot of versatility since at any time from his phone or tablet he can carry out purchase operations or sale from anywhere and this is an advantage when you are away from home and it is necessary to make a transaction or check the available balance.
The most common is to have a small amount of cryptocurrencies in the mobile wallet to make small expenses and thus not expose the total funds.
The Mycelium Wallet App has a good press in the community.

Software Wallets

The software wallets are connected to the Internet and are compatible with Windows, Mac and other operating systems. Perhaps they are the most prone to attacks because they are always online with the computer and the Internet, wallet updates, having the operating system and antivirus updated are essential measures to maintain the security of the wallet, since it is software installed in it. and any security breach will be exploited to steal your funds.

These types of wallets allow you to work like any banking application and you can quickly and easily send and receive any type of transaction, one of the best known software wallets is Electrum, but of course there are many more, it is a matter of investigating which one offers the highest security to store your cryptocurrencies.

Hardware Wallets

Hardware wallets are physical devices and they have become a very common complement among the community of people who are interested in cryptocurrencies, they have the advantage that the devices always keep private keys safe and never leave the device therefore they are not exposed.
Manufacturers of hardware wallets have all their models compatible with all operating systems.
Obviously a hardware wallet is not infallible, hackers are always ready to commit attacks, so it is very important to keep our wallet updated with the latest firmware version from the manufacturer.

To name a few, I will name two of the best known and most used:

- Ledger
- Trezor

Not to download updates from pages external to the manufacturer.
